Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan

What is the ANZCCJ?
The Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ) was established in 1991 after agreement between the existing Australian Chamber of Commerce and the New Zealand Embassy. It is a non-profit organization with more than 400 members across Japan. The Chubu Chapter is managed by a "Steering Committee" of local business people and events are held on a monthly basis. The events vary from opportunities to learn about business in Japan through speakers and respected guests through to more social gatherings that allow you to meet members of the Nagoya Community. All membership funds are used for the operation of the Chubu Chamber.

Nagoya St. Patrick's Committee

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated the world over by people from Ireland, those with Irish roots and, well even people who just like green beer. However, Nagoya is home to a handful of genuine Irish folk and the Nagoya St. Patrick's Day Committee organize an annual St. Paddy's Day parade from Osu to Kamimaezu and back again.

For more information on the annual parade, and any other activities held by the committee, please visit their website.

NIC / ACCJ WALKATHON

The Walkathon, now in its 18th year, has become the largest annual international event in Nagoya. More importantly, it brings together nearly two thousand members of the international and Japanese communities to support the vital work being conducted by local NPOs and charitable organizations.

The Walkathon has evolved over the years from just a walk in the park for a good cause to a big-stage, big-sound international festival. It is an event not to be missed.

The Nagoya International Club

The Nagoya International Club is a non-profit group promoting a vibrant foreign community in the Chubu/Nagoya area that offers an alternative to the bar scene, and the chance to make some friends outside of the work centered worlds we all exist within.

Our members are foreign visitors and residents of Japan, and Japanese people interested in foreign people and cultures. Every member has the option to host their own events, and so like our members, events are interesting and diverse.
