There is also a selection field for "reserved" or "unreserved" seating. In most cases we suggest you select "unreserved", but be careful, you result may include a train that is reserved car only even if you've selected unreserved".
There is a keitai version as well which is quite convenient, but that is subject to a ¥210 per month levy on your phone bill and is subject to packet charges (Internet connection fees) from your cell-phone carrier.
